"Maybe THIS time, I can do it."
Those were the thoughts of a young man who was addicted to heroin and had taken up countless residencies at both in-patient and out-patient recovery centers.
Fired from jobs. Incapable of properly caring for his children. Too "dope sick" to work. Unable to embrace the love of his parents. Living on welfare. All were circumstances that prompted the author to cry out to God on several occasions and ask, "Why, God? Why can't I break free from this spirit of addiction?"
The pivotal change in his life came when he was sent to jail and given a choice for his sentencing:
Either remain locked up for three years OR find and complete a recovery program. He chose the latter.
Although he knew there was a GOD, establishing a relationship with Him proved difficult at first because the addiction, coupled with other generational curses, left him questioning the ability to be fully loved by God. He struggled to stay clean in a Christian recovery program, all while the enemy whispered in his ear, "One more time won't hurt! After all, you have 30...60...90 days of clean time!"
Read the author's testimony of how he overcame a world of pain, suffering, and low self-esteem, even after playing with God's grace one too many times.
This time, he DID do it...and you can, too!

"There's no way we can be who God intends for us to be without speaking our truths."
~ Sheila Malloy-Hall ~
Sheila Malloy-Hall has chosen to give voice to her truths unapologetically and without the expectation of acceptance or applause. While no two seasons in her life were alike, with a made-up mind, she refused to look back—as moving forward was her only option. Her journey has been one fraught with horrors unfamiliar to many, but now she speaks of healing and wholeness. Today, she acknowledges that "SHE" (short for Sheila) is now FREE!
Coming from a place of pain to victory, Sheila tells it all in this autobiographical piece of literary art. Be encouraged and empowered as you "walk the walk" with her through trials and tribulations that no woman (or man, for that matter) should have to endure. Today, "SHE" is marching forward with a clearer perspective on her calling. She is not only a game-changer, she is making a difference in the universe by operating in 100% authenticity.
Were it not for the glory of GOD shining down on her in her darkest moment, Sheila would not be here to tell her story. The enemy tried for another win, but he LOST...and he's MAD about it!
The Law of Attraction states that positive or negative thought processes bring forth positive or negative results. What is one to do when they have lived a life of terror for as far back as can be recalled? Is it even possible to create a life filled with positivity after staring death in the face at a young age?
In The Transformative Power of “The Word”, International Best-Selling Author Laurie Benoit ever-so-eloquently shares her truths. Would her cries for help be heard or will they fall on deaf ears?

Who can help her realize an inner-strength she never knew she possessed?
Will her newfound freedom impact her future in a positive or negative way?
